Rower Inistioge would like to extend a huge thank you to Ellen Meagher, our dedicated Games Promotion Officer, for her outstanding work with our U6, U8, U10, and U12 teams over the summer months.

Throughout a very busy season, Ellen has worked closely with our underage management teams, delivering fun and engaging coaching sessions that have helped our youngest players develop their skills and love for Gaelic games.

Her role as Games Promotion Officer involves developing and implementing coaching and games programmes both within the club and in local schools, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to learn, play, and grow in a positive sporting environment.

As the school year begins, Ellen’s focus turns to working with pupils across our local schools one day each week — continuing to inspire the next generation of players and promoting the values of teamwork, participation, and enjoyment that lie at the heart of our games. The ability to be able to engage a Games Promotion Officer has been made possible by the funds raised through the Hurlathon.
